NetOwl software can be deployed either on premise within customers’ private enterprise or in private or public clouds such as Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Some customers prefer on-premise deployments due to data sensitivities of various kinds while others prefer the flexibility and scalability of using clouds. From single-server deployments to multi-server cluster deployments, NetOwl can be installed, configured, and maintained with a minimum of effort.
On Premise or in the Cloud
Docker and Kubernetes
Both NetOwl text analytics and identity analytics products support Docker as a container and Kubernetes (k8s) as a container orchestration system out-of-the-box. Docker allows NetOwl to be run effortlessly in different deployment environments, whether on premises or in the cloud, while Kubernetes enables automation of deployment, scaling, and management of such containers.
Scaling
Depending on the throughput required, NetOwl can be run on everything from a single standalone server to a large cluster of containers, including a serverless environment such as AWS Fargate, that distribute high volume operations. These deployments can easily support a very large volume of concurrent searches for name matching or concurrent text inputs for text analysis.
